WA Biochar Project Has Many Outcomes

Project Rainbow Bee Eater may not be the most attractive commercial title, but it may prove to be one of Australia's best options for realising the potential for agricultural sequestration of carbon.

With research work being led by the prominent Professor Syd Shea, sereval years of work under its belt and some impressive results, Project Rainbow Bee Eater's approach delivers some impressive outcomes.

Most significantly, the mix of small scale energy generation from waste and the biochar potential as a soil improver for both production and carbon sequestration purposes makes this project particularly notable.

Professor Shea is presenting at the First Super Biomass Energy Investor Seminar in Canberra on 25th November.
