Uranium Industry Searches for Nuclear Recognition

The Australian Uranium Association has released research that demonstrates one simple option for reducing greenhouse gas emissions is to develop nuclear power generation facilities.

The literature study was written by Manfred Lenzen from the University of Sydney's Integrated Sustainability Analysis Department

However, the Association is also very aware of the public perception of nuclear safety and therefore, the limited likelihood of an early move to nuclear power in countries like Australia.

Recently, Simon Clarke, the head of communications for the Australian Uranium Association was interviewed by CarbonEdge. Subscribers can click here to read the interview. To subscribe to CarbonEdge, click here.
